Does Chiron require the same sustenance? I wonder why he didn't ask...not that he would have to.
[Dorian still has no clue what an Achilles is, so, you know, even if you gave him your name the secret of your heel would be safe and sound. If you're really good he may one day be able to create a rock potion to protect that heel in battle...just saying.]
I'm told that's not a bad trait. [Considering that Dorian could be a bit selfish himself, he likes to hide how kind he is most of the time...but here he is being kind.] Well I suppose we should start, I doubt my roommate would appreciate the smell if it sets in...and...quite frankly I've no wish to sleep in a room that reeks of dead shapers. Ready?
He won't mention that he discussed the mana issue with Chiron prior to this meeting. He doesn't have any clue how that man plans on surviving when he isn't actively looking for sources of sustenance. Perhaps he'll come to his senses eventually.
Also yeah, create that potion, Dorian. Spoil Achilles. ]
What do you need from me? Is this some sort of ritual? [ His eyes sparkle with excitement, since he's interested in magic despite not being very good at it. He imagines a great mage like Dorian himself should put on an impressive show. ]
Well, if Chiron actively mentions anything to Dorian, the mage would have no problem in extending his offer to help to Achilles's mentor.
If he can ever get his hands on the special ingredients then you are in for a treat.]
Hardly, this is a spell I can cast on the battle field, not as impressive as any sort of ritual...more like kill, siphon, and kill again. [And really there's not much to it, Dorian casts the spell and the room is blanketed in a purple glowing mist. From the bag of shapers several black and purple framed skulls whisp up from the bag into the air. Dorian extends his hand and these whisps are drawn to him giving the mage his own sort of purple pulsing aura.
[ Achilles watches in subdued fascination, having never been present for such a ritual before. His knowledge of magecraft is rather lacking, after all, given that his teachings were focused on weaponry and combat.
Still, there's a certain beauty to the way Dorian gives easy command to the corpses, drawing out what he suspects is the essence of what their lives used to be.
Respectfully, he remains quiet, not wanting to interrupt the man by cheering or giving him praise when he isn't sure when it would be appropriate to. So he waits for him to make it clear. ]
