How does your magic work? Can you put blessings on people?

Blessings? I'm not sure what you mean by blessing do you mean in a religious context?

As for how it works, it's a natural, physical phenomenon and some people are able to interact with it and draw upon it from the Fade.

Is something wrong?

My friend at home could cast a spell that would help us. She'd ask her god for help, and it would give us an edge in a fight, so to speak.

It's not the same for you?

My sister and I are going to meet the princess. It's not supposed to end in a fight, but I don't want to go in there without some kind of back up.

I don't think the Maker listens to what we have to say, I'm sure demons are more inclined to pick up on the queries of a mage in need of a magical boost.

But here are my thoughts. Magic in and of itself is an edge in any fight, but it depends. The proper tool for the job as they say. You need crowd control magic? I have it. You need something to put the fear of the Maker into someone? I have that too. You want to do physical damage? I can manage that with magic. Barriers and the like? I have you covered.

The only thing I'm not particularly good at is healing, I can revive and rejuvenate, but I never put much focus into healing. It depends on what you need, in combat against spiders I can certainly be of assistance.

I used to think that too. For most of my life, I didn't think the gods paid much attention. But I found out they do.

Or they do where I'm from, at least.

But it sounds like your magic is different from anything I've seen. Maybe if my sister lets me take a second turn in the arena, I'll have to bring you along with us.
